Crock Pot Southern Pinto Beans

Southern Pinto Beans... simple and delicious.... a favorite on the menu at Cracker Barrel... it's a staple in many Southern kitchens ... and so easy to make.
TIPS
Not many tips here... keep it simple.. don't complicate it.. and you'll be just fine.
Use dried beans not canned.... healthier, no preservatives... and cheaper.. you can't beat that.
When you soak the beans overnight... most if not almost all the water will be absorbed into the beans... it's supposed to be like that.
Serve these with chopped raw onion and/or pickle relish and homemade cornbread on the side.
