Mourinho was caught on a speed camera doing 60mph in a 50mph zone on the A3 in Esher, close to Chelsea’s training ground at Cobham, last September.
He pleaded guilty to the offence at Staines magistrates’ court on Wednesday and was fined and banned through having nine points already on his licence.
The Portuguese was ordered to pay £1,820 in fines, court costs and surcharges at the hearing which he did not attend.
The court reportedly took Mourinho’s “significant income” into account. This year the Sunday Times Rich List put his fortune at £40m.
